Last weekend marked the start of the 2026 club football season with our u15s Feile Team taking to the field on Saturday morning in Mick Neville park. They were in a three team group along with neighbours St. Senans and ABK.
With only 1 team progressing to the next round, our boys had it all to do in their first game against a fancied St. Senans where they won a tight game on a score line of 3-7 to 3-3. This win gave us control of the group and also the knowledge that a win against ABK would guarantee passage to the next round. Goals were the difference in this game as we outscored our opponents ABK 3-2 to 0-2. Well done to all the lads and coaches on a fantastic effort over both games with some great football being played across both games.
Next up is a preliminary quarter final against Kildimo/Pallaskenry on Thursday evening in Pallaskenry at 6pm. If you can please come out to support the lads, and help get them over the line to the finals weekend!! Best of Luck to all Involved!!🟢🟡
