As we move into the winter months and with that the long nights, we will be locking the gates at the GAA pitch. They will be opened for trainings, matches etc, but should be closed after each event and every night. You will still be able to access the walkway by the pedestrian gate and the lights will be on automatically from 5pm to 10pm every night. Finally can I ask anybody who notices anti-social behaviour in and around our facilities to please contact both the Local Garda Station in Rathkeale and/or the club officers. It is impossible to monitor the pitch 24/7 so your active help and vigilance at this time will help keep the walkway and carpark a safe place for everyone over the next few months.
